Admissions Process

Open House:  Parents should attend the next open house in order attain further, detailed information about our program.  To find out about the next Open House event, click here.

Application:   Parents and students should complete the application forms and remit the $50 application fee and a recent photo of student applying.   Download application forms here.

Transcripts:  Parents will sign a consent form allowing TNS Academy to attain most recent transcripts from his/her school (for grades 1-4). Download transcript requests here.

Teacher Recommendations:  Parents will ask two current teachers for an evaluation of a student's academic and social development.  Forms must be sent directly from student's teacher to TNS Academy and not be hand delivered by parent (for grades 1-4). Download teacher recommendation forms here.

Interview: Interviews are required with students and parents of prospective families.  Please call or email in order to set up an appointment.

Communication:  At TNS Academy, we want you to feel comfortable with the educational placement of your child.  We feel the best approach to the application process is by being open and honest.  Should TNS Academy not be the perfect fit for your child and your family, we will strive to help you find a place that best fits your family's needs.

Admittance
Until March 1st Students are placed in a waiting pool
 
March 1st Parents will receive written notification of status of application.

March 15th  Enrollment forms and non-refundable enrollment fee due to complete admission.

Rolling Admissions  Following March 14th, all open spaces will be filled using a rolling admissions process.

 

Availability
TNS Academy is now accepting applications for the waiting pool for grades K through 5 for the 2008-2009 school year.
