In Primary grades, students need time to explore the world creatively. Our primary classes receive two hours each week of art, music, drama, physical education and language appreciation. Students learn that art is another form of communication through which one can express herself. Throughout the core classes, as well as our enrichment classes, students are offered ample opportunities to express ideas, feelings and emotions in their own personal styles, explore creative alternatives, and reflect, analyze and evaluate the merits of their efforts. Enrichment classes are also a prime opportunity for students to learn presentation skills and gain confidence in presenting their creative efforts. Throughout the year, students will participate in art showings, theater presentations, musical concerts, and much more.
